I read it after being amazed by the film--especially for how the culture was portrayed. D...I'm glad you've posted about this book. Despite the movie's drawing attention to it, I've not read many proper reviews of the book itself. I like Daniel Woodrell and I think he's quite underrated as an author, but I've not read this particular one yet.
