Top Ten Tuesday: Books By Their Covers
The topic for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by The Broke and the Bookish) is : Top Ten Books I Read because of their TITLE/COVER.
I'm going to keep it simple and maybe let you be tempted by the covers as well...
However, I'm shaking up the topic a little. I just cruised over to my bookshelf and picked out ten books I was interested in because of their title/cover/the book as a physical object, but haven't read yet:
Now that you have some idea of my cartoonish aesthetics...Do you judge books by their covers?

You like clean and simple covers like I do. I especially like the first one, Vaclav and Lena.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, Bedbugs stood out for me. Very cool. And yes, I do judge books by their covers!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you now! :)
All of these covers draw me in (especially Bedbugs) with the possible exception of the Gaiman one. I'd consider the book, I've heard good things about it, but the cover doesn't do it for me.
ReplyDeleteI've really grown to appreciate stylised covers - I love the style of Vaclav & Lena and, well, most of these! I kinda wish you had read them already so I could hear your thoughts on which were good!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog Laura :)
Oh man. Those're all great. Good job indeed.
ReplyDeleteI had the Solitude of Prime Numbers on my list as well. Great cover.
ReplyDeleteI added Vaclav & Lena to my TBR a few weeks ago after I saw the cover and read a great review.
I have Attachments awaiting me on my shelf, too. For some reason, the author's name is putting me off.
ReplyDeleteGreat picks this week! I especially like the cover for Attachments. Bedbugs is also very intriguing!
