Catching Up: Tweet These Reviews:

Jenny Lawson, Let's Pretend This Never Happened:  (2012, Amy Einhorn, 336 pages, bought)

Tweetable review:  Dead animals, many live animals, lots of awkwardness.  Hilarity ensues.  My favorite?  The pug with the creepy bunny face in its wrinkles.

Rachel Bertsche, MWF Seeking BFF (2011, Ballantine, 344 pages, bought)

Tweetable review:  Do you agree that it is difficult to make friends in the stage between marriage and children?  Try a personal ad.  Rachel Bertsche did.

Reread of F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby: (audio, library)

Tweetable review:  The great American novel about people in their 30s gets better on every read.  The BEST final lines in all of Literature with a capital "L."

The Best American Essays, Ed. Edwidge Daniticat: (2011, Mariner, 272 pages, got it from work?)

Tweetable review: Read Katy Butler, "What Broke My Father's Heart."  Cry it out.  Then read the rest of the essays.  Thank me later.

**Whew...that was kind of difficult.  Hope you liked it:)

  1. Love, love the tweetable reviews! Nicely done!

(I may have to "borrow" the idea.)

    1. Thank you! It was fun, and I was pretty behind on reviewing.

  2. I love this idea of tweetable reviews. I did what I called "micro reviews" a few weeks ago, but I love the idea of confining them to just the 140 characters. :)

    1. Thank you! I think it would be a fun feature, maybe with previously read books.
